This testimony tells the story of a family that has been targeted by ICE. About four months ago, ICE came knocking on this family's door looking for the respondent's aunt to deport her. The aunt was already in the process of obtaining her documents through her employer, but she had to travel to Mexico due to a family emergency. Since her trip was not authorized, ICE issued an immediate deportation order and this family has had to move and hide from ICE so that they do not become another family separated by unjust immigration laws.
