On August 10, the CBAR research group presented the results of the research completed through focus groups, interviews, travel and photographic and written documentation of the entire geographic area of Metro LA. Also, a community forum to recieve validation of the results on the issue of the need for high quality child care access for our community was also conducted. All this work was made possible by the training provided by the Health Program at IDEPSCA, SSG technical assistance, support and funds from Para Los Ñinos and First 5 LA. The board will work together with the Board of Directors from Best Start, moms and dads, and collaborative agencies to plan the next steps to meet the basic need and necesities for all families.
